[ Business context ]

The idea for Chatovi Online was born out of a pressing need to combat the growing wave of harmful content and online threats.

A representative from the Ukrainian cyber police approached Onix with a clear and urgent mission: start platform development to fight disinformation, online bullying, and drug trafficking on social media such as Telegram, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X.

The goal wasn’t just to block individual threats but to raise public awareness, educate people on media literacy and cybersecurity, and ultimately inspire civic responsibility in the digital world.

The Onix team needed to:

Develop a secure and scalable web platform to host civic engagement tools

Build an LMS to educate users about digital hygiene

Provide a structured reporting mechanism to aggregate complaints against harmful content

Incorporate gamification features to drive user engagement and motivation

Onix began anti-disinformation platform development to empower users to recognize harmful content and directly act against it.

LMS-based educational hub

A built-in learning management system where users can access educational materials, take tests, and earn certificates, helping them improve their cybersecurity and media literacy.

Harmful content reporting

A user-friendly feature for submitting links to propaganda or fraudulent content. Each report can include comments and is reviewed by moderators for further action.

Report aggregation system

When multiple users report the same content, the system automatically consolidates those submissions into a single report to streamline moderation.

Admin panel

A dashboard for managing user reports, approving or rejecting submissions, assigning moderators, and overseeing community activity.

Informative blog & cyber hygiene tests

An educational blog filled with timely articles on digital threats, plus interactive tests to help users assess and boost their cyber hygiene.

Gamification

During web platform development for cybersecurity, we built a rating system that tracks user contributions, rewarding the most active participants and encouraging ongoing engagement.

Intuitive design

Thanks to the collaboration between Onix and the cyber police, the platform now empowers thousands of users to take real action against propaganda, scams, and digital threats, effectively transforming passive internet users into an active online defense force.

Since its launch, the platform has enabled the community to identify and report thousands of harmful sources.

Many of these were successfully blocked through coordinated mass complaints, helping to reduce the spread of propaganda, online bullying, and fraudulent content across major platforms.

In the end, Chatovi Online is more than just a reporting tool. It’s a living, growing movement. It has strengthened digital resilience, raised public awareness, and fostered a sense of civic duty in the online space.
