Duscholux is a premium manufacturer of shower systems serving dealers, installers, and end customers across the DACH region.

As part of its service commitment, warranty information must be accurate, complete, and easily accessible throughout the product lifecycle.

The company operates four factories, each producing warranty and serial number data in its own format. Before this project, there was no standardized process for bringing this information together. Warranty files were processed manually before they could reach the Product Information Management (PIM) system.

Onix designed and delivered an automated warranty processing platform that standardizes the entire workflow—from receiving factory files to importing validated warranty data directly into PIM.

Every production cycle required the same manual process. The team had to:

Request new warranty files from each factory

Validate file structures, formats, and completeness

Transform every factory format into the structure expected by PIM

Monitor imports, investigate failures, and repeat the process whenever errors occurred

Because every stage depended on manual work, the process consumed time, delayed data availability, and made warranty management difficult to scale across multiple manufacturing sites.

The client needed a reliable automation layer capable of processing warranty information consistently across all four factories.

During the project, we delivered the following solutions:

Multi-factory warranty data processing

The solution supports warranty data from all four factories, each with its own file format, structure, and validation rules. Warranty files are processed automatically without requiring manual intervention.

Before processing begins, every file is validated to check its structure, formats, and required fields. If any issues are detected, they are reported automatically, eliminating the need for manual monitoring and repeated validation cycles.

Data transformation & enrichment

Each factory follows its own transformation logic, which is applied automatically to convert warranty data into the format expected by the PIM system.

Where required, the platform enriches warranty records by linking them with spare-part information, ensuring complete and consistent data before import.

Direct PIM integration

Once validated and transformed, warranty data is imported directly into Duscholux's Product Information Management system through API integration.

The standard workflow no longer requires manual exports or imports, allowing clean, validated, and enriched warranty information to reach PIM automatically.

Cloud-native automation platform

The entire solution runs on Microsoft Azure using Azure Logic Apps and Azure App Service.

The platform automates the complete warranty processing pipeline—from receiving factory files through validation, transformation, enrichment, and direct delivery into PIM—providing a scalable cloud-native foundation for future growth.

Administration & monitoring

A dedicated Next.js administration panel allows business users to manage processing settings, notification recipients, file management, and error review without technical involvement in day-to-day operations.

Automated email notifications are sent after every processing cycle, informing responsible team members about completed imports and highlighting issues that require attention.
