To stay within budget and launch faster, Onix proposed using a ready-made hotel template as a foundation. We selected the Aquarelle Next.js + Directus CMS template and customized it to match the client’s business model, branding, and long-term goals.This approach allowed us to avoid building from scratch while still delivering a custom hotel aggregator app development.

We transformed the template into a true aggregator platform. Users can browse a curated catalog of high-end hotels and spa resorts, explore galleries, amenities, and services, add multiple hotels to a cart, and send booking requests directly to selected accommodations.The platform itself doesn’t process bookings; it connects travelers and hotels directly.

To make hotel discovery intuitive, we implemented advanced filters by region, star rating, amenities (spa, adults-only, etc.), and other preferences.This helps users quickly narrow down options and compare offers that fit their needs.

Onix reworked the Directus-based admin panel to match the client’s business processes. The client can independently publish hotels, manage content, update images, and moderate listings.We also provided onboarding and guidance so the client could run the platform without ongoing developer support.

Since the platform targets international travelers, we implemented support for three languages: English, German, and Italian.All content is managed through a customized admin panel, allowing the client to update translations and hotel information easily.

We set up automated deployments, a secure hosting environment, and a staging environment with test links. This allows the client to preview updates and share the platform safely with hotel partners before going live.We designed the infrastructure to scale as more hotels are added or traffic grows, providing the client with a stable, future-proof system.

To help the client understand user behavior and make data-driven decisions, we integrated Google Analytics into the platform. This tracks key metrics, including the number of visitors, location, popular hotel searches, and interactions with filters or the cart.With these insights, the client can optimize content, monitor performance, and make informed marketing decisions to attract more travelers.

Although based on a template, we fully adapted the design to the client’s branding. We updated layouts, typography, and color schemes to align with the client’s brand guidelines, creating a premium, region-focused look and feel.
