The client operates as a 24/7 towing and roadside assistance provider in Montreal, offering services such as car and motorcycle towing, heavy-duty transport, emergency roadside assistance, and long-distance towing.

Despite strong operational capabilities, the service request process relied primarily on phone calls. This created several operational challenges:

There was no unified digital solution in the city covering roadside services — towing, jump-starts, tire changes, fuel delivery, vehicle unlock, and location tracking. The goal was to build a mobile MVP that simplifies service requests while enabling structured dispatch and administration for the company.

During our collaboration, the Onix team needed to:

Design and develop a mobile MVP for iOS and Android

Enable on-demand vehicle towing requests

Implement roadside assistance service ordering (battery boost, tire inflation/change, fuel delivery, unlock service)

Add vehicle lookup guidance for users whose cars were towed

Build a dispatcher-friendly back-office admin panel

Our team developed an internal administrative dashboard that enables operators to view and manage incoming service requests, assign and coordinate dispatch, and manage service categories and pricing logic.
